About Us

Abattoir

Abattoir is a space for contemporary art in the historic Hildebrandt Building, a former meat processing plant in the resurgent Clark-Fulton neighborhood of Cleveland, located between the West 25th Street corridor and Ohio City. The gallery will present a program of local, regional, and national artists, designed to elicit thought-provoking conversation and

discussion.

Lisa Kurzner and Rose Burlingham bring experience and expertise. Burlingham, a gallerist and curator and Kurzner an independent curator, consultant and art historian first worked together on Front International; they are excited to bring an invigorating perspective to the Cleveland art scene.
